Plans, Order Allowances & Billing Status — RUTHH COD Form & Upsells

Understand how subscription plans, monthly order allowances, usage overage rates, and the one-time 24-hour grace window are structured on the Pricing (/app/pricing) page of RUTHH COD Form & Upsells, as well as the current pre-launch billing status.

  • You have access to Pricing (/app/pricing) inside the app in Shopify Admin.

Numbered Instructions: How Order Allowances & Grace Windows Work

Section titled “Numbered Instructions: How Order Allowances & Grace Windows Work”
  1. What Counts Toward Your Cycle Allowance: Only verified COD orders created through RUTHH COD Form & Upsells (Standard COD Orders via orderCreate or Draft COD Orders via draftOrderCreate) count toward your 30-day cycle allowance. Regular non-COD Shopify checkout orders are never counted.
  2. One-Time 24-Hour Grace Window on the Free Plan: If a store on the Free plan reaches 100 COD orders during a 30-day billing cycle, the app activates a one-time 24-hour grace window (graceEndsAt) instead of cutting off storefront orders immediately—giving the merchant 24 hours to upgrade before new COD submissions are paused for the remainder of the cycle.
  3. Viewing Your Current Usage: Open Pricing (/app/pricing) at any time to see your current 30-day cycle order count, remaining allowance, and plan status.
  • Idempotent Retries Are Never Double-Counted: If a network retry submits the same order intent twice, idempotency protection ensures only one order is created and only one order is counted toward your cycle usage.
  • Plan upgrade buttons show pre-launch notice on /app/pricing: This is expected while BILLING_LIVE_ENABLED = false during the pre-release phase; no merchant is billed during pre-launch testing.
