Importing Shipping Rates from Shopify — RUTHH COD Form & Upsells

Use the Import from Shopify action in Form Builder → Shipping Rates (/app/form-builder/shipping-rates) to copy your existing Shopify Shipping delivery profiles and zones into your COD shipping rate table without recreating rules manually.

  • You have configured shipping zones and rates in Shopify Admin → Settings → Shipping and delivery.
  • Your Shopify shipping rates use your store’s primary currency.
  1. Open Form Builder → Shipping Rates (/app/form-builder/shipping-rates).
  2. Click Import from Shopify in the top action bar.
  3. The server queries your store’s Shopify Delivery Profiles via the Admin GraphQL API and translates eligible flat and conditional shipping rates into COD shipping rate entries.
  1. Inspect the imported rates added to your list:
    • Rate Name & Price: Preserved from your Shopify shipping zone definition.
    • Countries & Provinces: Mapped from the countries and subdivisions inside each Shopify shipping zone.
    • Subtotal & Weight Conditions: Price-based (minSubtotalMinor / maxSubtotalMinor) and weight-based conditions are mapped directly to COD shipping eligibility rules.
  2. Adjust any rate names (for example, appending (COD) if helpful for your fulfillment team) or reorder rates as needed.
  3. Click Save in the SaveBar to persist the imported rates and publish cod_shipping.v1_snapshot.
  • Some Shopify rates were skipped during import: Check the import summary banner. Rates without enabled countries or rates belonging to third-party calculated carrier services are intentionally excluded; create a flat or subtotal-tiered COD equivalent for those zones manually.
  • Imported countries are not yet enabled on the COD form: After importing shipping rates for a new country, visit Form Builder → Form Designer (Countries card) and verify that country is also enabled for the form.
