Thank You Page & General Settings — RUTHH COD Form & Upsells

Configure Form Builder → Thank You Page (/app/form-builder/thank-you) and Settings → General (/app/settings/general) to control what happens immediately after a buyer submits a COD order—including order creation mode, additional COD fees, order tags, UTM attribution, and post-purchase redirects.

• You have access to Form Builder → Thank You Page (/app/form-builder/thank-you) and Settings → General (/app/settings/general).

1. Navigate to Settings → General (/app/settings/general).
2. In the Order Creation section, select how validated COD submissions are recorded in Shopify:
   • Create standard COD order (STANDARD / orderCreate): Immediately creates a regular Shopify order marked as pending Cash on Delivery payment.
   • Save as Draft Order (DRAFT / draftOrderCreate): Creates a Shopify Draft Order instead of a finalized order, allowing your call center or operations team to verify the buyer before completing the order in Shopify Admin.

1. In Settings → General, locate Order Tags. By default, orders receive COD, RUTHH_COD. You can customize up to 10 comma-separated tags (up to 40 characters each).
2. Enable UTM Parameter Forwarding to automatically attach captured campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) to the Shopify order or draft order customAttributes.

1. In Settings → General, locate the Additional COD Fee card (app/form-configuration/v2/additional-cod-fee.ts).
2. Toggle Enable Additional COD Fee on.
3. Choose the fee calculation mode:
   • Fixed Amount (FIXED): Adds a fixed fee (amountMinor in your shop currency) to every COD order.
   • Percentage (PERCENTAGE): Calculates a percentage fee (rateBasisPoints) based on the order subtotal.
4. Enter a clear customer-facing Fee Name (displayed in the storefront order summary and added to the order).
5. Click Save. Note that additionalCodFee is published to cod_form.v2_snapshot only while enabled, and the server authoritatively prices the fee on every quote and order.

1. In Settings → General (or Form Builder → Thank You Page /app/form-builder/thank-you), choose one of the four After Purchase destinations:
   • In-Modal Thank You View (M15_MODAL): Displays a customizable confirmation screen inside the COD modal (cod_thank_you.v1_snapshot) with order summary details.
   • Custom Page Redirect (CUSTOM_PAGE): Redirects the buyer to a specific URL on your store (for example, /pages/cod-order-confirmed).
   • WhatsApp Redirect (WHATSAPP_REDIRECT): Redirects the buyer to a pre-filled WhatsApp chat URL supporting dynamic order tokens (such as order number, customer name, and total).
   • Shopify Order Status Page (SHOPIFY_ORDER_STATUS): Redirects the buyer to the native Shopify order status URL when available.

1. In Settings → General, review:
   • Merchant Alert Contacts: Email/contact details for operational alerts.
   • Tax Configuration (Read-Only): Displays your store’s live Shopify taxesIncluded setting so you know whether item prices already include tax.
   • Form Behavior (disableAutocomplete): Optionally disable browser autofill on form inputs if customers frequently submit stale browser-cached addresses.
   • Notifications (sendReceipt): Control whether Shopify sends an order confirmation receipt when creating standard COD orders.

• Additional COD Fee is not appearing on the storefront: Confirm the fee toggle is enabled, the fee amount/percentage is greater than zero, and you clicked Save in the SaveBar.
• SHOPIFY_ORDER_STATUS redirect falls back to modal confirmation: Draft orders (draftOrderCreate) do not have a public Shopify customer order status URL until converted into a standard order; in Draft Order mode, the storefront safely falls back to the in-modal confirmation screen.
